Miło mi poinformować udziale Ewy Graniak-Wosinek w wystawie No Money for Art VS. No Time for Art" w Honkongu. Wernisaż będzie miał miejsce 4 października o 12:30 naszego czasu. About the Exhibit:

“No money for art"seems to happen a lot in Poland, while “no time for art"is always true for Hong Kong people. Both Poland and Hong Kong seem to be the third-world regions when it comes to contemporary art. And, both are lack of something for art: the previous being more practical, while the latter more invisible. Looking into artworks evolved from the above phenomena, perhaps one can find out what a socialist society (used to be) and a capitalist society need from each other.

In order to have an in-depth discussion on the relationships amongst “time" “money" and “art" in different regions, C&G are inviting two Hong Kong artists and three Polish artists to participate in this exhibition featuring stop-motion animations. The primitive status of this medium will help artists slow down to have a sensitive taste of the contemporary issues concerning “money" and “time" for art.

波蘭藝術家總表示「無錢攪藝術」；而香港藝術家總表示「無暇攪藝術」。波蘭和香港兩者都彷似是當代藝術中的第三世界國土，兩者都欠缺一些東西去成就藝術，而前者欠的是有形的、形而下的；而後者欠的是無形的、形而上的。這正正體現作為社會主義的社會(曾經)及資本主義的社會之間，互相欠缺的究竟是甚麼？而這個提問也將成為是次展覽計劃的重要探討方向

The opening for this exhibit will be on October 4th, 2009(Sun) at 6:30pm. At 7pm, there will be artist-sharing session about the artists-in-residency program in Poland by C&G (Clara Cheung and Gum Cheng). The show will run until November 29, 2009, and it is free for public.

本展覽於2009年10月4日(星期日)，下午6:30正式開幕，隨後7:00舉行藝術家分享會，主講者為是次展覽策劃人C & G (張嘉莉 及鄭怡敏)，內容為他們在波蘭參與藝術交流計劃的見聞，展期至2009年11月29日。費用全免，歡迎各界人士參觀。
